The first though that came to mind when we found 666 Casino was, How long can we go without adding some devil related puns to this review?
For those who have yet to discover this brand-new (for February 2018, at least) casino it is themed on the whole idea of hell and is more than happy to play along
with this theme through the use of copious amounts of fire, pitchforks and, a Peter Kay lookalike? Well, as the saying goes The Devil is in the detail. And,
with that in mind, lets have a closer look at 666 Casino.
Say what you like about the underworld, but at least it has a clear brand image. 666 Casino uses this to great effect, with a great colour pallet which not only suits the theme, but also looks very smart. The red and white text on the black background makes for easy reading on the eyes and the games are laid out nicely in 5 column grids. Changing the action to a mobile device brings a very functional layout, with the now mandatory hamburger menu in the top left and some interesting devilish symbols next to the menu items.
The standard navigation menu on the desktop does little to push the boundaries of design, but is still functional, with a main menu along the top for games, slots, offers, etc. with a smaller menu at the top of the games list for filtering game types this may seem trivial, but it is a little disappointing given the strong design applied to other elements of this casino. Fortunately, there is a nice little touch with the addition of a drop down box to select game providers and a search box both of which make finding your favourite game quick and easy.
The final part of this section has been reserved entirely to the mascot of 666 Casino, who bears more than a passing resemblance to the comic, Peter Kay. The casino has clearly invested a lot of money in employing the services of Lucifer, as images of him are used a lot throughout the pages of 666 Casino, including some images that we really wish we could un-see. None the less, this provides a clear and memorable brand identity for 666 Casino which some casinos only wish they could match.
On this occasion, Ugambling has no intention of playing the devils advocate when it comes to recommending this casino for its selection of games. With a mixture of video slots, live dealer, and classic casino games, 666 Casino has you covered. Weve already mentioned the simplicity with which players can navigate through the list of games, and it is very easy to find your favourite games with the handy filters and search box. Clearly Blackjack is a popular game in hell, as there is a very generous selection of this card game available to players.
Providers include NetEnt, Microgaming, Betsoft and Evolution; and, with the list of available games being regularly updated, you can be confident of finding the latest and hottest games each time you visit 666 Casino.
The deposit/withdrawal process is such an important part of the player experience in an online casino so, are the cashier team at 666 Casino saints or sinners? Thankfully, it was the former when it came to the processing of Ugambling funds, with a fast and pleasant experience when making both deposits and withdrawal requests.
The minimum deposit requirement of £/€20.00, and a standard selection of payment methods means that players will not feel excluded from the action. An industry standard 3 day wait is advised by the terms and conditions for withdrawals, however Ugambling experienced a wait of just less than 48 hours for our withdrawal to be processed and to arrive in our bank account. Perhaps the team at 666 Casino are angels, after all?
If there is one gripe concerning the withdrawal process, it is that the terms & conditions state that any winnings of £/€100,000.00 or more may be paid out over 10 equal instalments. We do not consider this to be very player friendly, but at least 666 Casino are not asking for your soul!
666 Casino offers a quick and friendly live chat service to players, as well as standard email customer support. Although it s not stated what hours the live chat service is available, we found that a human-being was available at the other end of the chat window during all but the very late/early hours of the day. Although one of our questions could not be answered instantly through the live chat, we found a follow up email in the Ugambling inbox the very next day.
Those who have read through other Ugambling reviews will be familiar with the fact that we consider the vast majority of casino bonuses and promotions to be little more than a gimmick, representing poor value for money when compared to simply playing with your own money. Clearly 666 Casino hasnt read any of our reviews as they offer one of the gimmickiest promotions weve ever seen, by offering a deposit match bonus of upto, youve guessed it £/€666.
